Red Hill Cheese, Red Hill, Victoria

The Red Hill Cheesery makes excellent goat-milk and cow-milk cheeses and can also supply Vegetarian Rennet. A reasonably-priced cheese tasting platter lets you sample about 9 cheeses. We found their Portsea Picnic (cheddar-style goat cheese), Flinders Fetish (feta-style goat cheese) Indulgence & D'Vine (dessert-style cow cheese) and Mountain Goat Blue to be outstanding. Prices are reasonable at around $10 for a 400 g piece; to top it all off, they also offer cheese-making classes.
